Working from home

Working from home has become a common practice for office workers during the pandemic. This article from the Wall Street Journal describes some of the problems associated with the working from home model and why it has resulted in an increase in neck pain, back pain and related stiffness. Due to poor ergonomic set-ups in the family home and a decrease in activity, many individuals working from home have been experiencing an increase in symptoms.

Close attention to improving your work station, getting away from your screen at regular intervals and stretching will assisting in preventing mild symptoms developing into something more serious.

If you are experiencing an increase in neck or back pain, please get in touch. Cheers, Anthony
