The consultation commences with a detailed history and a comprehensive, holistic examination of your health and wellbeing. From this, an individualized treatment program is discussed with you.

Each patient has a unique body, lifestyle and situation. Time is taken to understand you and your circumstances. The main objective is to optimize your health and give you better control over your wellbeing using a natural, preventative approach.

The first part of the treatment is focused on the muscles of the body. Through our muscle testing and palpation we can identify areas of muscle strain, tightness & weakness. A variety of soft tissues techniques (massage therapies) are used to provide correct muscle balance, pain relief, improved circulation and stress relief.

Massage therapy incorporated with a good diet, exercise and good posture, promotes a healthy body and mind. Massage also assists with the elimination of toxins, improving blood supply and circulation, stimulation of the lymphatic system and improved joint mobility.

One of our main goals is to identify and correct any restrictions or misalignments throughout the body, especially the vertebral column. Virtually every cell in our bodies is controlled by our nervous system. Messages from our brains travel down our spinal chord and out through the spinal nerves to supply our muscles, bones, skin and organs.

Close attention is paid to other aspects of the your life that could be impacting on your health including diet, environment, your work, stress factors and physical activity. An integrated holistic program is recommended which empowers you to achieve and maintain wellness.

Supplementation of specific vitamins or minerals may be recommended to help speed up the healing process. Treatment programs are rounded out with exercise therapy. A simple, specific set of exercises is prescribed to help speed up recovery and maintain your health through increasing core strength and stability and improving flexibility.
